Antsy!

Do you know that feeling that you've got ants in your pants?  Can't sit still - Feeling like you're on the "waiting list" forever?  I've been playing around with that feeling all day today....  So, here's today's illustration!

The Process....

It's a rainy day - a good and perfect day to be in my studio working on some cards that I want to take over to Sow's Ear Studio. 

Today I'm taking over my Littl' Red Ladybug card - Spring is in the air!

Ms. Ladybug

 

 

I have had ladybugs on my mind.... I was so excited after finishing up this design last night - but knew there was some tweaking to do ..I sent it out to print and decided to try it out in two colors.  The photos do not show you just how warm, rich, and fabulous the colors are.  These will be available on TCards soon!

I had ladybugs on my brain today.....

This is really a different kind of illustration for me....  I just kind of went with it - one thing led to the next....

Now i feel like I should come up with a children's ladybug story - this design feels like a children's book page!
